It looks like Halle Berry isn’t very happy with Drake after he used her picture to promote his new single Slime You Out.

The music star recently released his new single with SZA, while fans are still waiting on his new album, For All The Dogs. Although most fans online love the new track, it seems like Halle Berry may not be on of them, as she claims Drake didn’t ask for her permission to use the picture of her being slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards show.

Halle Berry ‘thought better’ of Drake

After Drake used the picture of the actress to promote his single, she took to her Instagram to post a quote, which read:

“Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy, even if you’re a woman!” seemingly directed at the Canadian singer.

As many fans speculated this, one took to the comments to ask what her thoughts were on Drake using the photo for his single.

The 57-year-old got straight to the point, as she responded: “Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him!”

She then confirmed her post was in fact about him, as she continued: “Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

However, many fans were defending the God’s Plan rapper in the comments, to which one fan replied: “It’s the principle people. You get it… you get it.. you don’t… ohhh well… it’s the principle!”

Berry herself then responded: “Exactly!! It’s about principles and integrity. So happy many of you get that.”

Drake finally announces his album release date

The single, which has been causing controversy, is the first from the Marvin’s Room singers long-awaited new album, For All The Dogs.

A couple of weeks ago, fans were disappointed the record hadn’t dropped, however he’s now confirmed a release date for October 6.

Drake has been busy collecting bras on tour, which is why the album isn’t finished yet, he explained.

Taking to his Instagram story, he penned:

“Okay, my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show. “I owe you all these memories we are building and anywhere we have missed to date we will be spinning back for sure.”

“For All the Dogs October 6th. It’s only right…” he concluded. If the new single is anything to go by, we’re sure it’ll be worth the wait.
